Graduate Student Research Awards (GSRA) 2026 applications are now open!

These awards support and advance the scholarship of graduate students pursuing research and creative activities. Selected students will receive grants of up to $5,000 to support their research, scholarship, and creative activity; gain valuable experience writing grant proposals; and foster meaningful mentoring relationships between faculty and graduate students.

Applications will be accepted from September 14 - October 12, 2026.

Through fun, interactive improv exercises, you’ll practice active listening, shape your research into a clear problem → approach → impact story, sharpen your delivery through voice, pacing, posture, and gestures, and learn a bridging technique to confidently handle audience questions on the spot.
