With over 130 classes available, Whiskey University teaches public classes throughout the country at Restaurants, Bars, Country Clubs, Distillery locations, Liquor Stores, and Lodges.

George Garvin Brown was born this day in 1846. In 1870, he created Old Forester, the first bottled bourbon. The Brown family continues to be one of the top producers of bourbon. Each year Brown-Forman releases a new batch of "Birthday Bourbon" to celebrate the its founder.

Came across a festival in Trondheim, Norway and stopped at the Myken Distillery booth for a tasting. Met the founders of the distillery who are also the master distiller and master blender. The distillery is the world’s most remote distillery located on the Myken island 32 kilometers off the coast of Northern Norway. Only 13 people live there, all year round, but we were told in the winter there are only 4 on the island.

We had a great turnout for Tennessee Whiskey 202 tasting class at Liquor Vault. Everyone enjoyed tasting several whiskey samples and appetizers while learning the history of Tennessee Whiskey.
