2nd grade students each read their narrative to a first grader and then showed the first grader how to dig for fossils. Students took their responsibility to be a good example for the first graders very seriously, and practiced reading their narrative several times and drew very detailed drawings!

Our first graders took their Spanish lessons outdoors this week to explore nature and practice descriptive language. Each student found a real leaf, then used Spanish to describe its color, shape, texture, and size. 🌿✨

From “la hoja es verde y lisa” to “la hoja tiene bordes puntiagudos”, their creativity and language skills were in full bloom!
