We held our annual Dual Language Potluck Community event and a brilliant time was had by all! Everyone enjoyed a delicious meal together, participated in craft and game stations, watched the Klein Collins Mariachi performance, and spent time together as a community. Our third week of November was filled with Thanksgiving themed activities and events. From Thanksgiving crafts, academic work of finding text features to build a Thanksgiving Dinner in 3rd grade, and eating a delicious Thanksgiving feast prepared by our wonderful food service staff, we had a wonderful week!

From science experiments and collaborative projects to student lead opportunities and assessments, we are so proud of our Broncos and their academic growth. Ms. Mast is a student focused educator who develops strong positive relationships with her students and delivers high quality instruction. We are so excited for her as she joins Klein's list with Ms. Fossati and Ms. Morales. Congratulations!

Kudos to Kleb's choir, band, and orchestra that visited on Friday to play for our Broncos. We loved the holiday performance and we would like to thank our intermediate students for sharing their talents with us. It was such a wonderful way to kick-off our Friday morning!

This past Saturday our PTO hosted a Pajama Breakfast with Santa event and our Bronco families had such a wonderful time! Thank you to PTO, our Bronco Chorale, and all our special guests who attended the event and made it so Brilliant. We can't wait to continue to make memories with our Broncos over the next two weeks!

Before leaving for break, our third graders had their field trip to the Pearl Fincher Museum and they had a brilliant time. Our Broncos got to learn about art, complete a craft project, and enjoy a lunch picnic. They did an amazing job of showing everyone our Bronco 5 core values and were so excited to share all that they had learned when they returned to campus. Thank you to our staff and volunteers for organizing and attending the trip, we appreciate you!

Our Broncos had a special treat in specials with a Day of Drumming! Our Broncos got the opportunity to practice and play African drums while learning about collaboration and music properties. Thank you to Brill's PTO for bringing in the event! πŸͺ˜πŸ’›πŸ’™

Good Sunday evening Brill families,

We hope everyone is enjoying their Sunday! We are excited to see our Broncos tomorrow and continue our work as Brilliantly Inspired Leaders and Learners through our Bronco 5! We are so incredibly proud of our Broncos and all of the hard work they are putting in each day on campus and of our staff for their excellence in growing our students.

This week will be busy with academics and events as we kick-off our 10 days of Winter. Our dress-up days start tomorrow with Get "Red"y for Winter and wear red day! We also have several campus events happening this week in addition to the start of quarter two assessments. We know our students will do a great job of showing all they have learned on these exams as we work to finish quarter two strong as inspired learners. Be sure to check the reminders section below for all event and campus information. Over the next two weeks we will have lots of campus events and academic work as we celebrate this time of year with our Broncos. We are looking forward to continuing to make memories of this school year with our Broncos!

Good Sunday afternoon Brill families,

We hope everyone is enjoying their Sunday and had a wonderful Thanksgiving Break! We are excited to see our Broncos tomorrow and continue our work as Brilliantly Inspired Leaders and Learners through our Bronco 5! We are so incredibly proud of our Broncos and all of the hard work they are putting in each day on campus and of our staff for their excellence in growing our students.

This week will be busy with academics and events as we kick-off a very busy three weeks! Monday through Wednesday we will have vision and hearing screenings for our Pre-K, Kinder, 1st, and 3rd graders. Our Merry Market also opens this week for our Broncos to do some optional holiday shopping. And finally we will end our week with a winter performance from our Intermediate choir, band, and orchestras. On Saturday, we will hold our 2nd annual PTO: PJ breakfast with Santa. More information about each of these events can be found below.

Over the next few weeks we will have lots of campus events and academic work as we celebrate this time of year with our Broncos and finish quarter two. We are looking forward to continuing to make memories of this school year with our Broncos!

Good Sunday afternoon Brill families,

We hope everyone is enjoying their Sunday and had a wonderful weekend! We are excited to see our Broncos tomorrow and continue our work as Brilliantly Inspired Leaders and Learners through our Bronco 5! We are so incredibly proud of our Broncos and all of the hard work they are putting in each day on campus and of our staff for their excellence in growing our students.

This week will be a busy week with academics and events before heading into our Thanksgiving break next week. We have lots of kudos to celebrate from last week and several events to look forward to this week. This Tuesday is Seat Belt Safety day, Wednesday is our 3rd grade Field Trip, and Thursday we will hold our Dual Language dinner. Our Culture for Caring club is also hosting several donation drives. We are excited to see our Broncos tomorrow and continue our work as Brilliantly Inspired Leaders and Learners through our Bronco 5! We are so incredibly proud of our Broncos and all of the hard work they are putting in each day on campus and of our staff for their excellence in growing our students.

This week we will have a student holiday on Tuesday, November 7th, for Election Day. We want to encourage everyone to get out and vote! We will also have our Veteran's Day program this week and we would like to invite the Brill Community to the program this Thursday evening at 6:30 pm. We would also like to invite our families to add any family members who have served in the Armed Forces to our Veteran's Day Virtual Memorial Wall so we may say thank you for their service. We will be displaying the wall at the program this week. Our Broncos will also get to participate in our Day of Drumming program in their Specials class on Friday.

Next week, we will have a few events before we move into our week off for Thanksgiving. Good Sunday afternoon Brill families,

We hope everyone is enjoying their Sunday and had a wonderful weekend! We are excited to see our Broncos tomorrow and continue our work as Brilliantly Inspired Leaders and Learners through our Bronco 5!

This week we a few events including the kick-off of Culture for Caring's Sock Drive, Anti-Bullying Day on Tuesday, and Fall Photo Retakes on Friday. Please note that students are not permitted to wear costumes on Tuesday but it will be a wear Orange dress up day as we show support for October's Anti-Bullying month. We are also encouraging healthy food choices this year so students will be advised to not bring lots of candy to school this week. We appreciate your support and understanding of this. Fall Photo retakes will be Friday for any student that was absent on the day we originally took Fall photos on September 20th or for those who purchased a package and would like a retake. Students should bring their photo packages with them to school on that day to give to the photographer. The Sock Drive information can be found in our Clubs section, please consider supporting our Culture for Caring Club's community project.

Next week, we have a student holiday on November 7th for Election Day, our much anticipated Veteran's Day program, and our Broncos will get to participate in a Day of Drumming in their Specials class.

Students and staff are also invited to dress up and participate in our annual Storybook Character Parade this Friday morning! Parents and families are invited to attend. This is a big week for our Broncos as it is the last week of quarter one and we are encouraging all of our Broncos to finish the quarter strong both academically and behaviorally before taking a well deserved break next week for our Fall break.
