Today begins our Benfer Toy Drive! Klein ISD is teaming up with Lone Star Santas to deliver toys to children affected by natural disasters. Please help us collect unopened/unused toys for children ages 0-18! There will be a drop off location in the front office until 11/17/23.
Thank you all for voting for our Book Character Staff Costume Contest! The 1st place team is 5th Grade! Our school community loved how 5th grade teachers involved their student in this merry and bright costume! Our 5th grade teachers will be receiving their prize soon!

Tomorrow is the end of our Big Kahuna Fundraiser! Last day to collect pandas, last day to sell 20 items for the party bus prize, and last day to help our school! If you have in-person sales, bring your packet to school tomorrow. Thank you for supporting our school!

TOMORROW: Annual Benfer Book Character Parade! Parents are invited to watch the parade in the cafeteria at 8:30 AM!
Students can wear their costume to school for the parade that morning! They can bring a change of clothes or they can wear the costume all day if it is comfortable and not a distraction. We ask that the costume follows school dress code, is not scary, and does not include props that are weapons. Don't forget to send students with the book they are dressing up as!
Next Thursday, we will be hosting our Annual Literacy Night! Come enjoy reading fun with our Benfer staff and community!

This week is National School Bus Safety Week! 🚌 💛 We love our Benfer drivers and are so thankful that they get our students to and from school safely! We are excited to have our drivers representing 🧡💙🐾 (We couldn’t get a photo of every driver, but we love them ALL!)

QUARTER 1 HIGHLIGHTS: Mrs. Bell’s kindergarten class loves going to our Benfer Library!
QUARTER 1 HIGHLIGHTS: 5th grade science classes had a great time learning about how mechanical energy makes our bodies move. Of course, they had to test it out with some fun games of tug-o-war or hula hooping!
QUARTER 1 HIGHLIGHTS: Some of our students had a blast learning about roping, growing crops, and caring for animals at their rodeo field trip!
QUARTER 1 HIGHLIGHTS: Mrs. Dahkan’s 3rd graders learn about properties of matter with a hands-on science lab!
QUARTER 1 HIGHLIGHTS: 2nd graders in Mrs. Musella's class work as a team to discover physical changes in matter (and have fun at the same time)!
QUARTER 1 HIGHLIGHTS: 5th grade loves specials! Music games, soccer, rodeo art has been a huge success for these 5th grade bobcats.
