Hello Parents and Families!

I hope you have a wonderful Fall Break! We will miss our buffaloes next week, but look forward to seeing them back at Blackshear on Monday. Oct. 19th.

Reminder that throughout October, we are collecting items for several great causes:

Oct. 1 – 23: Phill the Box: Cloth donations placed directly into the blue bins on property.

Oct. 1 – 23: Trunk or Treat Candy: Unopened bags of candy donations for our Annual Trunk or Treat. Students drop off in grade level bins in vestibule.

Oct. 1 – 30: Socktober: New sock donations for our local Klein Kloset. Students drop off in boxes outside their hallways.

Thank you for your continuous support, energy, and partnership. Please check the flyers in the bulletin for complete details.

🎉 Huge thanks to our amazing Blackshear PTO and volunteers! ❤️💛🦬
We are so grateful for everything you’ve done for our school family this quarter. From helping run our Fall Book Fair and making 100 shaving cream pies to keeping our staff fed and energized, your support means the world to us! 🍕📚🍎

A special shoutout from Ms. Baker for jumping in to replace our broken speakers—because of you, the music, dancing, and fun never have to stop! 🎶🔊✨

We truly have the best community around. Thank you for showing up for our students and staff every single day!

📣 HEY BLACKSHEAR! IT’S TIME TO CLEAN OUT THOSE CLOSETS! 👕👚
Have clothes your family has outgrown or no longer wears? Don’t throw them away—donate them!
We’re collecting gently used clothing and shoes from our families and community. Every donation helps raise funds to support our teachers and students! 💛❤️
So, grab those bags, clean out those closets, and send in your unwanted clothes. What may be taking up space in your closet can make a BIG difference at our school!
👕 Clean out your closet.
🛍️ Bring in your donations.
💰 Help support our teachers and students!
Together, we can turn clothes we no longer need into opportunities for the students we love! 🎉

🚒 Fire trucks, sirens, and giant smiles!
What better way to kick off Community Helpers Week than a visit from our friends at the Klein Fire Department! Our PreK Buffaloes had the best time learning all about fire safety and seeing firsthand how firefighters protect and serve our community every day.

A huge thank you to Harris County ESD 16 | Klein Fire Department for taking the time to teach, inspire, and keep our little Buffaloes safe! 🖤💛❤️ Klein ISD
