We're excited to launch our weekly family newsletter for the 2026–2027 school year! Every Sunday, The Arrow will keep families informed with important reminders, upcoming events, and everything you need to know for the week ahead.

We are excited to welcome our Warriors back for an amazing school year! As you prepare for the first day, our school supply list includes the basic materials students will need to get started.

Please note that some teachers and elective courses may require additional supplies. Any specific classroom or course needs will be shared with students during the first week of school, so there is no need to purchase specialty items in advance.

Important: Please do not purchase Bluetooth or wireless headphones. These devices will not be permitted on campus. If headphones are needed for class, students should bring wired headphones (or the type specified by their teacher).

We can't wait to kick off another great year at Doerre and look forward to seeing everyone on the first day of school!

Save the Date! Chromebook Pickup is Almost Here!

Doerre students may pick up their Chromebooks on August 5, 6, or 7 in the Doerre Cafeteria.

Pickup Hours:
9:00 AM–12:00 PM and 1:00–4:00 PM

Students from any grade level may come on any of the three days during either pickup window—choose the day and time that works best for your family!

Important: Students must have their Accidental Damage Protection (ADP) fee paid before they can receive their Chromebook. The ADP fee will be available in SchoolCash Online beginning Monday, August 3.

Doerre Families, please join us in welcoming Ms. Denise VanGils, our new Assistant Principal at Doerre Intermediate!

Dear Doerre Family,

I am incredibly excited to introduce myself as your new Assistant Principal at Doerre Intermediate! It is truly an honor to join the Doerre family, and I am thrilled to become a part of this wonderful school community.

I am beginning my 26th year in education, bringing 20 years of rewarding experience as a teacher and 6 years as an administrator. Having taught and served in leadership roles at both the high school and middle school levels, I have seen firsthand how much students can thrive when they are supported by a strong, encouraging network.

My educational philosophy is simple: relationships and care come first. I am deeply committed to cultivating a safe, supportive, and positive environment where every student feels valued, heard, and inspired to reach their full potential. Equally, I am dedicated to supporting our incredible staff, collaborating with them to ensure they have the resources, encouragement, and partnership they need to succeed. I look forward to serving you all and working together to make this a fantastic school year!
