Strack Intermediate School

Strack Intermediate opened its doors in 1977 with an enrollment of 962 students.

Strack is named in honor of Herman Strack, the oldest of five sons who came to Texas from Prussia in 1848. The Strack Cougars have been an important part of the community for thirty eight years, welcoming students from Benfer, Haude, Roth and Kuehnle elementary schools.

Cougar Families,

It is an honor to welcome back all our students, families, and staff for Spring 2025. Please take a moment to review the Family Newsletter for some important information.

Highlight: Due to the opening of our brand new wing of the building, all students will receive an updated schedule on Wednesday, January 8th in their 1st-period class. Parents/guardians, please have your students log in to their student Skyward account on Tuesday, January 7th, and take a screenshot of their schedule with their new room numbers. Please note that only room numbers are changing, not teachers. We will permit students to utilize their phones to access the campus map and schedules on the 1st day back.

We will also have plenty of staff and volunteers to assist students with getting to their 1st-period class.

We're so proud to announce that two of our talented 8th grade students have won the Strack Campus Podcast Challenge! 🎉✨ Their incredible podcast will now be sent on to the District level for further recognition!
A huge congratulations to Arianna Gonzalez and Trinity Stone for their hard work, creativity, and dedication. We can't wait to see where this journey takes them! 🙌🎧
