🎉 92 educators. $20,285 headed into Klein ISD classrooms! 💙

Our Fall 2026 “I Wish I Had” Mini Grants are officially awarded, and we can’t wait to see how our educators put these funds to work for their students!

From hands-on learning materials and classroom resources to tools that help support students in a variety of ways, these Mini Grants provide our educators with a little something extra to enhance learning in their classrooms.

One lucky Klein Collins alum will have the chance to step onto the field before the Homecoming game and kick for $500!

We’re excited to have Pogue Construction sponsoring Kickin’ It with KEF at Klein Collins and helping us make this fun Homecoming experience possible!

Team Klein is made up of Klein ISD employees who choose to give back through payroll deduction to help the Klein Education Foundation support students and educators across our district.

We’re kicking off something NEW this homecoming season!

Introducing Kickin’ It with KEF, a KleinNation alumni fundraiser that will give one alum from each of our five high schools the chance to step onto the field before their alma mater’s homecoming game and kick for $500! 💰🏈

Here’s how it works:

🎟️ Raffle entries are $20 each
🏫 Enter for your Klein ISD alma mater
🏈 One alumnus from each high school will be randomly selected to kick
💵 Make the field goal and WIN $500!
🎁 Miss the kick and you’ll still go home with a school spirit basket, while the $500 goes to KEF to support educator grants!

Must be a Klein ISD alumnus and 18+ to participate.

The KEF “I Wish I Had” Mini Grant application opens TODAY at 8:00 AM! Grants of up to $250 are available to help bring those “I wish I had…” classroom needs to life.

⏰ Application closes Friday, August 14 at 8:00 AM.

💡 PRO TIP: Be specific! List the exact items you’re requesting with the cost of each item, and make sure those costs add up to your total grant request. Rather than sharing an entire Amazon wishlist, tell us exactly what you’re wishing for!

🎉 What an exciting day at French Elementary!

Today, French celebrated the ribbon cutting of the first Platinum Level ADA playground in the Houston area! ️💙

Last spring, the Klein Education Foundation awarded French Elementary a $12,000 grant to help make this incredible playground a reality, creating a space where more students can play, connect and belong.

KEF Directors Cathy Arellano and Philip Stewart were there to help celebrate this special milestone, and we are so proud to have played a part in bringing this amazing project to life!

We had such a great time sharing about KEF and Team Klein with the Ulrich team today, and they showed up BIG with 37 new Team Klein members! 🙌❤️💙

A big thank you to the incredible team at Schindewolf Intermediate School for welcoming us this morning! We loved sharing about the Klein Education Foundation, our grant opportunities, and the impact of Team Klein.

We're especially excited to welcome 19 new Team Klein members who have chosen to invest in supporting Klein ISD students and educators. Your generosity will help fund impactful opportunities across our district, and we're so grateful to have you on the team! 💙🩶
