These Hornets have put in the work this summer! Congratulations to Gretchen Cheyne and Jayci Ladner for qualifying to the National High School Finals Rodeo. Last week, they competed in the heat of Lincoln, Nebraska and represented the state of Oregon well! Both ladies made excellent top ten performances (Gretchen in Round 1 Barrels 10th place out of 194 competitors making time and Jayci in Round 2 Pole Bending 9th place out of 179 competitors making time). Jayci also represented Oregon in the 2026 NHSRA Queen contest. Congratulations, ladies!

Congratulations to The Oregon High School Equestrian Team from Henley.

Three riders have qualified for the State Finals May 7-10 in Redmond, Oregon.
Ava Reeves- Canadian Flag with her partners- Baylee Collado-Klamath Union, Brooklynne Brown & Reagan Bjork- Mazama

Jillian Breuer- 3rd- in the Freestyle 4 Drill Team

Jaydeen Prock- 2nd in 2 Man Sorting- with her partner Natalie Howard from Crosspoint Christian.
3rd in Working Rancher
3rd in the Freestyle 4 Drill Team
Henley also received the Small Team HI point award for the season.
