Me personally, I would much rather be hot during those times that the air stream isn't cooling me than bleeding and burning on a very hot road surface while waiting for the ambulance to come get me.
Never mind the irrigation of all of the road debris, ointment and dressing applications, scabbing, scarring, dismemberment, infections, or death.
