The girls will have the opportunity to tour the bank and learn more about money, banking, and financial responsibility.

🎉 September 26 — Girl Scouts New Year Party

💚🎁 TROOP 1300 SUPPORTS OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD! 🎁💚

This year, the girls of Girl Scouts of Citrus Council - Troop 1300 are working together to spread joy, hope, and kindness through Operation Christmas Child.

Operation Christmas Child is a worldwide outreach project that provides gift-filled shoeboxes to children in need. Many children who receive a shoebox have never received a gift before. These simple boxes are filled with fun items, school supplies, hygiene products, and encouragement, helping children know they are loved and remembered.

As Girl Scouts, we are committed to serving others and making the world a better place. Through this project, our girls are learning compassion, generosity, and the importance of helping children beyond our own community.

🌟 OUR GOAL IS 100 SHOEBOXES! 🌟

📌 We are collecting NOW through November 16, 2026!

You can help us reach our goal in two ways:

💲 Donate $25: A donation of $25 helps cover the cost of purchasing items for a shoebox and the shipping cost to deliver it to a child in need.

🎁 Donate NEW Items We are collecting NEW items such as:

✅ Small toys
✅ Stuffed animals
✅ Dolls
✅ Soccer balls (deflated, with pump if possible)
✅ Coloring books
✅ Crayons, markers, pencils
✅ Notebooks and school supplies
✅ Hair accessories
✅ Socks and t-shirts
✅ Reusable water bottles
✅ Toothbrushes
✅ Combs and hairbrushes
✅ Washcloths
✅ Bar soap

🚫 Please DO NOT Donate:

❌ Candy or food
❌ Toothpaste
❌ Liquids or lotions
❌ Medicine or vitamins
❌ Used items
❌ Toy weapons or military-themed toys
❌ Sharp objects
❌ Breakable items
❌ Aerosol cans
❌ Seeds

Every donation helps us bring joy, hope, and a smile to a child this Christmas season. ❤️

🎄🎁 Operation Christmas Child – Troop 1300 🎁🎄

Troop 1300 is collecting donations for Operation Christmas Child now through November 16th! We invite our school community to help us bless children around the world by donating approved items.

Please check the flyer for the list of items that can be donated. You can also scan the QR code to view the approved items and enter what you would like to donate. Feel free to share the flyer with your family, friends, coworkers, church, and community to help us spread the word!

⚠️ Important Donation Guidelines:
All items must be NEW. Please DO NOT donate used items. No toothpaste, food, soap, or other prohibited items.

Operation Christmas Child has very strict guidelines because every shoebox is inspected before it is sent to another country and again before entering the destination country. If a box contains an item that is not permitted, the entire shipment may be denied entry into the country.
