Kissimmee Middle School Welcome to KISSIMMEE MIDDLE SCHOOL where Jaguars Achieve Greatness Using Academics, Responsibility and Self Awareness.

Our mission is to “Inspire learners to reach their highest potential as responsible, productive citizens”. At KMS, you can expect a high quality education which is based on standards, staff who are highly trained in their profession, technology which is state of the art and integrated into the curriculum, and most of all, high expectations for ALL students. Additionally, KMS offers the following to our students: Project Lead the Way STEM program, seven different high school credit courses, arts, a successful athletic program, an after school Drama program, a thriving music program featuring Orchestra, Band, and Jazz Band, and this year, we are proud to be introducing Dual Language curriculum in 8th grade to complete the first cycle of the Dual Language program. There truly is something for every student at KMS to thrive and become college and career ready.

This morning, our Kissimmee Middle School JROTC cadets proudly held a flag-raising ceremony in honor and remembrance of September 11, 2001.

Our Jaguars came together as a school family to remember the lives lost, honor the heroes who served and sacrificed, and reflect on the courage, unity, and strength our nation showed in the days that followed.

A special thank you to our own Mr. Rankin for delivering a beautiful and heartfelt speech. His words reminded us that while we may never forget the events of September 11, we can continue to honor those affected by choosing unity, respect, courage, and service.

We are incredibly proud of our JROTC cadets for representing Kissimmee Middle School with such dignity and respect.
