Second grade is a year of exciting academic and personal growth. Our teachers are helping students deepen their reading comprehension, strengthen their writing, develop important math skills, and become thoughtful problem-solvers.

But learning goes beyond academics! Every day, our 2nd grade team encourages students to ask questions, think critically, collaborate with others, take on challenges, and learn from their mistakes. 📚✏️

Behind every great school is an incredible team—and today, we’re celebrating the educators who help our Timberwolves move, create, perform, explore, and discover what makes them unique! ✨

Meet our Essentials Team! 🎨🎶🏃‍♀️🎭

From our PE coaches, music and band teachers, drama teacher, and art teacher, this amazing team brings creativity, energy, and opportunities for students to learn in different ways and discover new passions.

Whether a student is stepping onto the stage, picking up an instrument, creating a work of art, learning a new skill, or challenging themselves on the court or field, our Essentials teachers help students build confidence, creativity, teamwork, discipline, and courage. 💙

We are so grateful for the enthusiasm and passion this team brings to IKCA! They remind us that learning doesn't happen only at a desk—it happens when students have opportunities to create, move, perform, explore, and shine. 🐺✨
