A belated but heartfelt THANK YOU to our students and staff who participated in their Great Kindness Challenge last week! Students had a blast completing various points on their checklists and spreading kindness throughout the school. Their efforts can still be seen in the hallways today. Being kind may seem like a small gesture, but that's all it takes to brighten someone's day!

This year marks a powerful milestone in our nation’s history.
One hundred years ago, on February 7, 1926, the first Negro History Week was established by Dr. Carter G. Woodson and the Association for the Study of Negro Life and History. What began as a single week dedicated to recognizing and uplifting Black contributions has grown, 100 years later, into the Black History Month we honor today!
Around our school we are celebrating with a bulletin board contest hosted by our Elementary SGA! The boards will be revealed later today. Our students and teachers have worked together to create stunning works that highlight local figures and HBCUs within our nation.
