🎉 Celebrating Our School-Related Employee of the Year — Ms. Irma Alonso! 🎉

We are excited to recognize Ms. Irma Alonso, our School-Related Employee of the Year!

Ms. Irma serves as our Intervention Room Coordinator and helps coordinate our bus dismissal, working alongside our Teacher of the Year, Ms. Lucci. She plays an important role in making sure our students begin and end their school day safely, smoothly, and on time.

Ms. Irma has been serving New Beginnings and our district for 16 years! Her greatest motivation is the opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of our students. What she enjoys most is simply connecting with our students, learning about their different backgrounds, and being a trusted and caring presence on campus.

We are incredibly grateful for Ms. Irma’s years of dedication, service, and commitment to our students and school community.

We are grateful to celebrate our official Teacher of the Year, Ms. Sandra Lucci🥳🎉

Ms. Lucci is our high school and elementary PE teacher here at NBEC. *Fun fact, Ms. Lucci & Ms. Irma who coincidentally also won Professional Staff of the year, are both our bus dismissal coordinators*. Ms. Lucci does a wonderful job not only in the classroom but also ensuring all of our students get to their corresponding bus right on time.

Did you know that Ms. Lucci has been part of the Osceola School Distric for 21 years now?
She was part of the Kissimmee Middle School team for 11 years and has been with us for the past 10. During her time here at NBEC, Ms. Lucci has worked as a reading teacher and a physical education teacher. Her biggest reason for becoming a PE teacher is helping the next generation learn to take care of themselves first.

Congratulations to our Teacher of the Year.☀️👏
