At Osceola Prep Academy, we are proud to celebrate the strength, resilience, and spirit of our students—and today, we shine the spotlight on an extraordinary freshman, Santiago Bidrogo.

Santiago lives with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, a rare condition that affects approximately 1 in every 5,000 individuals. But what truly defines Santiago is not his diagnosis—it’s his determination, his bright mind, and his incredible outlook on life.

He comes to school each day with a heart full of goals and a positive attitude that inspires everyone around him. Whether in the classroom or among his peers, Santiago’s presence brings light, encouragement, and strength to our school community.

Santiago reminds us all that challenges do not define us—our courage and perseverance do.
