🌟 Teacher Spotlight: Ms. Doris Cobb 🌟
Gateway High School
Program: Applied Cybersecurity Pathway
Ms. Doris Cobb is a highly experienced educator in her 30th year of teaching and a dedicated instructor in the Applied Cybersecurity Pathway. She plays a vital role in preparing students for success in the fast-growing field of information technology.
Ms. Cobb teaches applied cybersecurity courses that equip students with essential technical knowledge and strong problem-solving skills needed in today’s IT industry. Her instruction emphasizes networking fundamentals, system security, and hands-on learning experiences that allow students to apply what they learn in real-world scenarios.
A strong focus of her program is helping students earn industry certifications that make them workforce-ready upon graduation. Ms. Cobb is intentional about building both skill and confidence, ensuring students are prepared for careers in cybersecurity, networking, and other IT-related fields.

🌟 Rising 8th Grade CTE Spotlight: Hendrix 🌟
St. Cloud Middle School ➜ PATHS - Professional and Technical High School
CTE Teacher: Mr. Evans
Hendrix is being recognized as a Rising 8th Grade CTE Spotlight for his strong interest in hands-on technical learning and his future focus in the automotive field.
Next year, Hendrix will be attending PATHS (Professional and Technical High School), where he plans to enroll in the Automotive pathway. He chose this pathway because he hopes to build a high-paying career that provides long-term stability while also allowing him to help others get back on their feet when needed.
While at St. Cloud Middle School in Mr. Evans’ Robotics and Electronics classes, Hendrix developed strong technical skills through hands-on learning experiences. He also earned a Cybersecurity ICT certification and is preparing to test for his Computing Essentials certification, showing his growing confidence in technology and problem-solving skills.
Hendrix’s future goals include working in a racing garage, helping people in need through his skills, and eventually contributing to the development of faster and more efficient motors.

🌟 Senior Spotlight: Jaxon 🌟
Harmony High School
CTE Program: Engineering Pathways
Jaxon is being recognized as a Senior Spotlight in the Engineering Pathways program for his dedication, creativity, and commitment to developing real-world engineering skills.
Jaxon chose the Engineering Pathways program because of his interest in creating things and learning how to apply those skills to improve everyday life. Throughout the program, he has built a strong foundation in engineering design and problem-solving.
He earned his Autodesk Inventor certification, demonstrating his ability to use industry-standard design software to create and develop technical engineering models. This certification reflects both his technical growth and readiness for advanced learning in engineering fields.
Jaxon plans to continue his education in civil engineering, where he will build upon the skills learned in high school. He recognizes that the concepts covered in the Engineering Pathways program provide an essential foundation for any engineering career, especially in design, planning, and structural development.
Overall, Jaxon has shown strong focus, curiosity, and a clear commitment to his future goals in engineering.

CTE Program: Pharmacy Technician Training – Ms. Redding
Stephen Eunis is being recognized as a Senior Spotlight in the Pharmacy Technician Training program due to his strong performance, professionalism, and growth in pharmacy-related skills throughout the school year.
Stephen consistently demonstrates a solid understanding of key pharmacy technician concepts, including medication safety, pharmacy calculations, prescription processing procedures, and proper handling and organization of pharmaceutical materials. He shows accuracy and care in his work, which reflects the attention to detail required in real pharmacy settings.
In the lab environment, Stephen applies pharmacy skills with confidence by following procedures correctly, maintaining organization, and ensuring tasks are completed with precision. He understands the importance of patient safety, confidentiality, and accuracy in all pharmacy operations, and he consistently works with a high level of responsibility.

🌟 Program Spotlight: Nursing Assistant Program 🌟
St. Cloud High School
Instructor: Ms. Hudson
The Nursing Assistant program at St. Cloud High School, taught by Ms. Hudson, continues to provide students with hands-on training and real-world skills needed for success in the healthcare field.
Pictured are three students—Fabiola, Gigi, and Mia—who are all on track to graduate with their CNA Merit Diploma and plan to take their certification exam this summer. Through Ms. Hudson’s instruction, they have gained the knowledge and clinical skills needed to confidently enter the healthcare industry.
Ms. Hudson has built a strong and successful program where many students have earned their Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification, allowing them to immediately begin working in healthcare settings after graduation. Her program focuses on both technical skills and professionalism, preparing students for real-world patient care.
🌟 The Nursing Assistant program at St. Cloud High School continues to create strong pathways into the medical field, helping students turn their training into meaningful careers in healthcare.

Next month, will be represented at the Adobe World Championship by not one, but TWO outstanding alumni. Please join us in celebrating Hannah Forbes, the national 1st‑place champion 🥇, and Emily Torres, the national 2nd‑place winner 🥈 at this year’s U.S. Adobe Nationals. 🙌
We’re also proud of Alexandra Acosta for earning 6th place—an amazing achievement! Out of more than 400,000 entries, only 41 students were selected to compete, and our district placed three in the top 10, with the rest ranking among the top 30 in the nation. 🇺🇸✨

CTE Teacher: Mr. Carlson
Skill Up CTE Middle School Lab
Devin and Logan are being recognized as Rising 8th Grade CTE Spotlight students for their hard work, growth, and dedication in the Skill Up CTE Middle School Lab at Celebration K-8 School.
Devin (left) will be attending PATHS - Professional and Technical High School next year, where he plans to focus on HVAC education and continue building his technical and hands-on skills for a future career in the skilled trades industry.
Logan (right) will be attending NeoCity Academy where he plans to focus on Biomedical Engineering and continue developing his interest in science, technology, and engineering innovation. Logan has been actively involved in the Skill Up Labs since 7th grade and continued in the CTE elective throughout his 8th grade year, showing long-term commitment and consistent growth in the program.
Both students have worked diligently throughout their time in the Skill Up Labs, gaining valuable hands-on experience and strengthening their technical skills through real-world, career-focused activities. Their effort, focus, and engagement have helped them build a strong foundation for their future CTE pathways.

🌟 Teacher Spotlight: Mr. David Parks 🌟
Gateway High School
Program: Digital Media / Multimedia Design
Mr. David Parks is a dedicated Digital Media and Multimedia Design teacher who consistently provides students with meaningful, real-world learning experiences that develop both creativity and technical skill.
Under his guidance, students have produced a professional school newscast for Gateway High School, giving them authentic experience in planning, filming, editing, and producing broadcast-quality media. In addition, Mr. Parks supported students in recording a documentary highlighting peers competing in the NFTE pitch deck competition, allowing students to experience real-world storytelling and production work firsthand.
Mr. Parks consistently challenges his students to meet industry-level expectations through hands-on projects that reflect current media and production standards. His classroom emphasizes professionalism, collaboration, and creativity, helping students gain confidence while developing career-ready skills.
Through his instruction and leadership, students are not only learning digital media—they are building portfolios, gaining experience with real production workflows, and preparing for future careers in media, communication, and creative industries.
