No matter where you are I'll come to your school for free in early Fall 2024 to introduce the Green Actioneers program and we'll give a free digital copy of the 246-page Green Actioneers Family Action Guide to every family at Family Night. The only requirements are that you'll implement the program as it is designed, that you'll let me video the entire program, and that your school will be proud to let everyone know that you are among the very first schools.

Your kids can be heroes and their school can be celebrated as one of the first schools to introduce the Green Actioneers Family Action Guide, a 246 page "how to" book for the whole family, with a story about a school and a community going green. It's in English and Spanish, describes over 100 Green Actions families can take, and it includes a coloring book, games and puzzles, quotes about the environment from 120 notable people and even a "Where's Waldo?" feature.

Your program starts with getting one book and showing it around to the PTA and administration. Then you schedule Green Action Family Night and as families come into the gym or cafeteria, you pass out a book to every family. They go through the book finding actions they can take and they report back to the assembled families in a "gamified" manner, so everyone gets in on the fun.

Families take the book home and get to work. You put a big chart up out in the hallway of the school and every time a family takes one of the actions their kids can put a PostIt note up on the chart telling everyone the action they have taken.

Green Action has become Green Actioneers. Our school program was previously "Climate Change is Elementary" but that title did not work in states where there is controversy over climate change, which is over half the states. Now we are moving forward with our Green Actioneers Family Action Guide, a 266 page bilingual (English-Spanish) book for the whole family, which does not mention climate change, global warming or sea-level rise, because the book is entirely about solutions.

The Green Actioneers Family Action Guide tells the story of three diverse families and over 100 steps they take to save energy, money and water and to guarantee a clean and green future for their kids. It has coloring book pages, and games and puzzles throughout and even has a "Where's Waldo?" feature as readers search for two little space aliens in every picture. A fourth local Native American family closes the book with a huge dose of environmental wisdom.

We can also be found at the Green Actioneers page. Once the book is published in the Fall of 2022 we'll update that page often to promote the book and the school program, which can be initiated by any "Green-hearted" adult, using the book as a guide.

Six steps to a clean conscience.

Certainly everyone should install solar to the maximum extent feasible and allowable, as we have done here at our home in Florida.
