Asymmetric Capacitor in Vacuum. So for the longest time scientist and engineers have argued with us that Propellantless Propulsion is not possible. Someone forgot to tell mother nature because for over 20 years we have been doing it in both Air and Hard Vacuum.
Check out the video. This was a very quick demonstration we performed that proves that Asymmetric Capacitors produce thrust under high vacuum conditions.

Okay, it's time for a reality check. Scientists all over the world are selling the fairy tail that as soon as Fusion propulsion becomes available we will be cruising through the stars. How about NO. It's not that easy. Check out the link to see why.

Why do we need Break Through Propulsion Physics?
Follow the link to my latest blog on this subject matter.
Why do we need Break Through Propulsion Physics?
The reason we need breakthrough propulsion physics is that with it we can do everything that can be achieved with conventional propulsion much faster, more efficiently, and far cheaper over a fraction of a human lifespan. So, while it is theoretically possible for a chemical rocket to reach Proxima....

I'm a firm believer that the only people not making money from space are those that are not investing in that market. Just to be clear, we are not talking about Old Space. We are talking about the New Space Revolution. Unlike the Old Space Revolution, the New Space Revolution is being led by for-profit companies and private investment.
Plenty of great opportunities for investment in New Space ourselves included.
While there are no guarantees with any investment, New Space companies have been pretty successful with some notable failures peppered through. Overall New Space is rapidly becoming the new Tech Sector to be investing in. Getting in on the ground floor of a new immerging market has historical precedence for leading to great returns. It's something to think about.
The New Space economy is a growing market with a lot of room for additional growth in the near future and beyond. However, if you want safe vanilla investment, there are always real estate and insurance companies. This field of investment is not for everyone. Some people should not get involved in some market trends.

So, in the last 5 years, we have seen a steady increase in the number of companies that are going to provide orbital access services. PLD Space is one of them. They announced a delay in their debut flight but still look solid to start operations in the next year. This would give small satellite operators yet another way to get their satellites into space. This is really good news for the New Space industry since the more ways to get in orbit the better. No one wants to be limited to SpaceX as the only choice. I'm keeping a close eye on PLD Space. They are a real contender.

Currently, we are working on a new version of the Demo-1 thruster. The new thruster will be better and able to produce more thrust than the prior iteration, but still, only take up a 1U section of space. So, we are getting more bang for the buck.
Stay tuned for more announcements as things progress toward the Demo-1 mission and space qualification of the first SFE propellantless propulsion thruster.

Let's talk CubeSats. A CubeSat is a type of micro Satellite that was created by Cal Poly professors to allow University and College Students the opportunity to create and launch an actual satellite in space. Ever since SpaceX Falcon-9 has lowered the price for launching satellites into space and has increased the frequency of launches from a handful a year to almost 2 a week, CubeSats have become the hottest new commercial satellites in the industry. Companies like Planet Labs with their Flock of 3U CubeSats have been able to use them to image the entire Earth at least once a day. So, this is one of the main reasons why Gravitec Inc is planning to Space Qualifying our first commercially available propulsion system with a 2U CubeSat mission called Demo-1.
If you want to know more about what we are doing and how you can become part of our vision for the New era in commercial space follow the link to our WeFunder campaign and become part of Team Gravitec. This is a real chance to get on the ground floor of a new space venture. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

A lot has happened since I last posted here. The Demo-1 CubeSat thruster configuration has gone through a few changes, making it larger so it can best use the 1U space it will occupy. Instead of simply demonstrating that the Serrano Force Effect (SFE) is the first viable form of propellant-less propulsion we are now planning on using the mission to fully space-qualify this thruster as a commercially viable product. This will give Gravitec Inc, the flexibility to license the use of the thruster on a case-by-case basis to outside customers. The advantage here is that this would be an instant revenue stream for Gravitec Inc. It will also help finance our vision to vertically integrate the technology into an Extreme Low Earth Orbit satellite constellation.

So, What's a CubeSat?
A CubeSat is exactly what the same implies, it is an actual Space Satellite. What sets CubeSats apart from other space satellites, is their relatively small size. A 3U CubeSat is smaller than a loaf of bread, but this little Satellite is a fully capable space vehicle and can do a lot of what its bigger counters parts can do and a lot of things they can't. A lot of them are launched from the International Space Sation (ISS), like the picture shows. Gravitec is planning to use a 2U or 3U CubeSat to qualify its revolutionary propulsion technology in 2023. The mission has historic implications.
