Just a few days left to support these amazing kiddos. You can donate or buy popcorn. Every donation and purchase is tax-deductible. The kids really want to do more science by going out of state, but we are going to need a lot more donation/popcorn purchases to get us there. Help these kiddos out as we start the march to a 4th consecutive state tournament. Years ago, I always said this was the year, and now we are pushing to keep going back. You are supporting a 3 time top 10 regional team, multiple regional champions, multiple state qualifier, and a team that has medaled over 30 times in the last 4 years.

Fundraising is vital to the success of our program. As a program, we are raising additional funds to send a team, or two, to the Yellowjacket Invitational at Georgia Tech. Also, equipment and material prices have increased and we are trying to build our available funds to allow us to compete against...

Science Olympiad is still hoping to get a lot more donations or popcorn purchases. Sundays are great for laying on the couch, watching tv, and snacking on cake pop or even cookies n cream popcorn.
What your donation and/or purchase goes to support:
1. Materials and equipment. Science takes building, breaking, and rebuilding.
2. Transportation to competitions. We plan on going to USF, Olympia, and trying to go out of state for the first time. It also helps to get us to states when we qualify.
3. Food for the kids at competitions.
4. Invitational registration fees.
5. Supplement our amazing sponsors commitments. (Toho Water Authority, Kissimmee Utility Authority, Big John's Rockin' BBQ, and WonderWorks Orlando).
6. Keep club expenses low for the students.
Club facts:
1. We have had at least 2 regional champions for 4 consecutive years.
2. We have placed in the Top 10 for the last 3 years.
3. We qualified for STATES the last 3 years.
4. Over 30 Top 6 places at regionals, invitationals, and states over those 3 years.
5. Multiple students earned STEM scholarships for college based on their experience in Science Olympiad.
Please help support the best group of kids, and the best team in Osceola County over the last 3 years!
Donations are all tax-deductible.

You can buy popcorn, donate money, or do both! If you would prefer to write a check, it needs to be written out to Osceola High School, and put "Science Olympiad" in the notes. The school's address is 420 South Thacker Avenue Kissimmee, FL 34741 Attn: Andrew Hayes. We are almost at $2000, but we are trying to raise $30,000 to go to some out of state competitions and compete against the best of the best (and do MORE science!). Please consider helping my kids out. I need all the help as all my assistant coaches have left me this year, so I'm by myself.

Today we had our annual end of year awards ceremony, celebrating the great, the improved, and the fun of this past year. We also announced the 4 who were nominated and voted to be the leaders of this team for next year. I am excited to see what Jada, Amanda, Farzona, and Alanah will do to get us back to States for the 4th consecutive year.

We will be back stronger than ever representing Kowboy Nation!

Today has been a day. Between prom tonight and trying to balance events to one having to leave even earlier than expected, it's been a day. We are here and that's what's important. We are hoping for the best, and I will update after the awards ceremony.
