Prodigy Early Learning at Tapestry

We kicked off Summer Camp by creating friendship bracelets with letter beads!

Students had fun selecting beads, spelling their names and special words, and designing bracelets to celebrate new friendships. This creative activity encouraged self-expression, fine motor development, and helped everyone start the summer by making meaningful connections.

Our students explored the magical phenomenon of biofluorescence by creating their own glowing seascapes using neon highlighters!

When viewed under a blacklight, their artwork glowed to life with bright, vibrant colors. This open-ended art experience encouraged creativity while teaching students about one of nature’s most fascinating ocean wonders.

Our students explored “the Deep” — the darkest, deepest, and most mysterious part of the ocean!

They learned that although we know so much about marine life, 95% of the ocean still remains unexplored. The children were fascinated to discover that deep ocean waters receive no sunlight and stay around a chilly 39°F! This exciting exploration sparked curiosity and wonder about the amazing world beneath the sea.

Our students took their learning outside for a fun vocabulary-building adventure in the garden!

Through exploration and play, they were introduced to new words and concepts in a hands-on, meaningful way. Repeating and revisiting vocabulary through engaging activities helps strengthen language development and build confidence in communication.

Our students used Play-Doh to break off small pieces as they practiced visualizing numbers 1–5!

This hands-on math activity helped strengthen fine motor skills while building number recognition, counting, and one-to-one correspondence in a fun and engaging way.

Our students had a wonderful time creating their own popsicle stick boats and testing them on the water!

Through this hands-on activity, they explored creativity, problem-solving, and early engineering skills as they designed, built, and observed how their boats floated and moved through the water.

Our toddlers had so much fun making their very own edible paint!

This sensory-rich activity allowed them to safely explore colors, textures, and creativity through hands-on play. The students loved mixing and creating while engaging their senses in a fun and messy learning experience!

Our students explored “Picasso geometric art” by creating their own masterpieces using cut-up newspaper!

Through this creative activity, they experimented with shapes, lines, and design while learning about geometric art and artistic expression. Each piece was unique and full of imagination!
