Neptune Middle School

What an amazing end to the school year! The last few weeks saw us wrap up testing with our always encouraging 6th grade team dressed as Superheroes, the tasty BBQ reward for doing well on those tests, and a visit from our resident cows to lunches, classrooms, and dismissal. We also said a final goodbye to our 8th graders as they gathered one more time to sign shirts and yearbooks before the ceremonial final walk off campus. It has been a fantastic year at Neptune Middle School. To our students and staff, have a safe, relaxing, and memorable summer!

Staff Spirit Day #2 today allowed us to preview what our attire will be for the next two months! Students may join us tomorrow on the last day of school for a free dress down day of wearing all (or mostly) black. Normal, school-appropriate, dress day attire applies so no hoodies, head coverings, leggings, or pajamas. Crocs are allowed but slides, sandals, and slippers are not. Let's make tomorrow a Neptune Blackout to begin summer!

Student enjoyed the final PBIS event of the year as they spent Sand Dollars to eat with friends, sing karakoke, and play Just Dance during lunch! Thanks to our Gold Level PBIS team for another great year.

Yesterday was the first day of our Staff Spirit Week. Staff donned our middle school best as we took part in the annual Dress Like a Student Day!

Our final three days!

Last night, we honored 8th graders that demonstrated academic and athletic excellence at Neptune Middle School. Additionally, students who excelled in fine arts and showed leadership were also recognized. As we head into our final five days of the school year, we want to thank our outgoing Seahawks for an incredible three years. Onward to high school and the bright future beyond!

Today IS Early Release Wednesday. Students will be released at 3:30.

Today we had a special treat for our 7th graders without 2nd semester referrals or failing grades. Around 200 Seahawks received a free ice cream to celebrate their achievements! While 8th grade gets their end of year activities and 6th grade had a trip to the Osceola Magic earlier this year, we wanted to give something special to our "middle children." Thanks for a great year. Onward to 8th Grade!
