Wize Computing Academy of West St. Louis

This Memorial Day means more than a long weekend to me. As a combat veteran, I’ve lost friends who performed acts of courage and sacrifice that the world will never know about. Heroes whose names may never make headlines, but whose impact lives on in the freedoms we enjoy every single day.

This weekend, I’m asking everyone to please take a moment to remember them. Honor the fallen. Pray for the families, children, spouses, and friends who were left behind carrying the weight of that sacrifice long after the battlefield grew silent.

Freedom has never been free. It was paid for by men and women who gave everything for people they would never meet.

May we never forget them. 🇺🇸

Programming.
Solving problems others didn’t even see.

Years passed.

The little girl who once struggled to find her place…
became a young woman who creates solutions for the world.

Now she stands in a lab, confident, fulfilled —
holding a vision not just for herself, but for humanity.

Because someone showed her early…
that her mind mattered.

That she mattered.

And now, she’s helping build a better future.
