When I talk to my students about building their resume for college admissions, I emphasize the need to do something organic, thoughtful, fulfill a need, make a small difference. Don’t focus on what looks good, just do you. This kid nailed it.
Meet Sir Darius Brown, a 13-year-old from New Jersey who discovered that sometimes the smallest gestures create the biggest impact. After experiencing fine motor skill delays, Darius learned to sew with encouragement from his family.
