This week, the Bunny Room learned about apples in a fun and tasty way!
Bunny students tasted different colored apples then helped make their own crockpot applesauce. They chopped apples, measured ingredients, and best of all tasted the yummy applesauce. This was such a fun experience for our little learners! 🐰🍎

Weekly Spotlight: Ms. Dana’s Motor Group
This week we are celebrating all the hard work Ms. Dana puts into helping our students strengthen their gross motor skills. From jumping jacks and burpees, to hockey and kickball- Ms. Dana does it all!
This week, we played scooter hockey! Students work hard to scoot around the gym and make goals. We learned to celebrate our friends and work together. Motor Group is such a special part of our weeks at KECC!

Last week, our adventurous Bears went on an exciting global safari to explore diverse animals and their habitats!
From the icy polar regions and lush rainforests to scorching deserts and sprawling savannas, the children discovered how animals cleverly adapt to survive wherever they call home. While exploring the savanna, they noticed that trees are scarce and their delicious leaves grow way up high. To put their learning into action, the Bears put their fine and gross motor skills to the test—stretching, reaching, and pretending to be tall giraffes munching on high-canopy leaves!
It was a fantastic week full of movement, curiosity, and big imagination.

The turtles had a ton of fun exploring “Pete the Cat’s I Love My White Shoes”. After reading the book, students were able to step in strawberry jelly, blueberries, and brown ‘mud’!
