Celebrating 10 Years of GSA Alumni! 🐊🎉

We are planning a special GSA Alumni Reunion this December for graduates from the Classes of 2016-2021.
As we celebrate 10 years since GSA’s first graduating class, we are forming a Reunion Steering Committee to help plan and organize the event from start to finish.

We are looking for at least one representative from each graduating class to assist with planning, alumni outreach, promotion, activities, and other reunion-related responsibilities.
A stipend will be provided to selected alumni who serve on the Reunion Steering Committee and support the planning process.

We definitely didn’t expect this to turn into an all-girls watch party… but somehow it did, and we brought the energy! ❤️💛

The office was glowing in red and yellow all evening as we cheered on Spain together 🇪🇸⚽️ Huge thanks to all the girlies who made the watch party so much fun!

And of course, shoutout to our Argentina supporters too 🙏🇦🇷 we loved seeing everyone come together to enjoy an incredible World Cup Final. That’s what the GSA Alumni Network is all about! 🌍✌️

She has completed her master’s degree in Athletic Training. GSA Alumni Network is proud of her and all our other alumni who have worked hard for their goals.

A moment worth celebrating! 🎓🎉

Now studying engineering at Harvard University and serving as a member of the GSA Alumni Committee, Murllin Bender shared his story with students walking the same halls he once did. Reflecting on the experience, he described it as “a powerful reminder of the lasting impact that dedicated educators and a strong educational foundation can have on young people.”

His return to Smiley Elementary was a meaningful reminder of the lasting impact educators and a strong school community can have on students long after they leave the classroom.
