We are thrilled to announce that Trinity Streckfuss is taking on a new role as Program Assistant for North Glendale Adventure Club! 🌟 A dedicated Adventure Club team member for nearly four years — and most recently serving as Group Leader she brings incredible experience to this position. We’re thrilled to share that we’ve received some incredible STEM materials, thanks to a STEM Grant Program from the Burns & McDonnell Foundation! Their support has allowed us to acquire hands-on learning resources from Makedo, which will enhance our STEM curriculum and empower students to design, create, and innovate.

These tools are perfect for transforming everyday cardboard into opportunities for creativity, confidence, and problem-solving. Built to last and designed for reuse, they’ll change how our kids interact with materials, making every box a chance to create something new.

🌞 What an incredible finale to summer at Kirkwood Adventure Club! We wrapped up the season with an unforgettable week packed with smiles, laughter, and nonstop fun.

We kicked things off with an interactive petting zoo from Cowboy Critters 🪿 and epic gaming in the Me2You Gaming truck, followed by our first-ever Wacky Fashion Show 🎩 where campers rocked the red runway in their most creative outfits. Team B had a blast putting their hard-earned Adventure Club bucks to use at our live auction, and we topped off the week with a movie party and refreshing Kona Ice treats! 🍧

Summer flew by, but we’re so grateful for the memories and friendships that will last a lifetime. Thank you to all of our amazing families for choosing Kirkwood Adventure Club for your child’s summer camp experience—until next time! 🌟

🌟 What an incredible week we had in Session 6! 🎉 It’s tough to capture all the fun in just one post, but here goes! We kicked off the week with inline roller skating with Coach Auggie 🛼, and the campers had a blast exploring a huge jungle obstacle course 🏞️. One classroom even took a walking field trip to the Glendale Fire House for a behind-the-scenes tour 🚒. On Wednesday, we hosted a Luau party where the kids danced, limboed, and snapped pics in a tropical-themed photo booth 🌺📸. We wrapped up the week with an epic water day featuring two super awesome water slides 💦 and fun pep rally. Just one more week of adventure awaits!

🌞 Session 5 was a blast! We had the amazing Hoop St. Louis with us, and despite the heat, everyone had a great time. 🍧 Kona Ice was the perfect treat to cool us down, and our campers showed incredible creativity in new workshop classes this week. It's hard to believe there are only two sessions left! Time flies when you're having fun. 🏀✨

Session 4 was glowing with fun! 🌟 This week, students explored a new Adventure Club favorite, the "Nailed It!" class. They watched butterflies hatch in some of the classrooms 🦋, played balloon blasters 🎈, created new inventions out of cardboard 📦, and made their own personalized journals 📚. It was a really fun week at Summer Adventure Club! ☀️🎉

🌞🎉 What an exciting week we had at Summer Adventure Club! 🎉🌞 We dove into some amazing new classes like Sensational Dough Lab, All-Star Dance, and Flag Finders. Plus, we had a special visit from Mad Science for the Spin, Pop, Boom show! 🚀💥 It was truly an unforgettable week at Summer AC. Can't wait for more fun ahead!

🔥 Despite the heatwave, Session 2 was a blast! Our students dove into exciting new classes like Wearable Arts and Yoga Warriors. We even had a special visit from the St. Louis Zoo! 🐾 The fun continued with Circus Kaput's "Oh My Gosh" circus and comedy act, and wrapped up with an epic Foam Party and Water Day! 💦 Can't wait for Session 3 with a special visit from Mad Science! 🔬✨

Wow, what an amazing time we had at Session 1 of Summer Adventure Club! 🌞 From an epic camp-wide kickball tournament to cool workshops like Diamond Painting, STEM Superstars, and Perler Power, the fun was nonstop! 🎨⚽️ We even had special visits from Louie and Fredbird, plus a blast with inflatable sports and backyard games during our Summer Kick Off! 🎉 We wrapped up the week with a sweet treat from the Cool Times ice cream truck. 🍦 Can't wait to see what Session 2 has in store!
