🔥 Despite the heatwave, Session 2 was a blast! Our students dove into exciting new classes like Wearable Arts and Yoga Warriors. We even had a special visit from the St. Louis Zoo! 🐾 The fun continued with Circus Kaput's "Oh My Gosh" circus and comedy act, and wrapped up with an epic Foam Party and Water Day! 💦 Can't wait for Session 3 with a special visit from Mad Science! 🔬✨

Wow, what an amazing time we had at Session 1 of Summer Adventure Club! 🌞 From an epic camp-wide kickball tournament to cool workshops like Diamond Painting, STEM Superstars, and Perler Power, the fun was nonstop! 🎨⚽️ We even had special visits from Louie and Fredbird, plus a blast with inflatable sports and backyard games during our Summer Kick Off! 🎉 We wrapped up the week with a sweet treat from the Cool Times ice cream truck. 🍦 Can't wait to see what Session 2 has in store!

Adventure Club Allstars! 🌟 Get ready for a summer packed with fun and adventure. We've been hard at work all week designing amazing spaces to welcome our campers. We can’t wait to kick off the first day of camp on Monday! ⚾🌟

We had the absolute best time celebrating our incredible Adventure Club staff at our first-ever Afterschool Professionals Appreciation Dinner! 🍽️ The night was filled with a delicious dinner followed by some seriously yummy cake, but the food was just the beginning. 🍰 The energy was high as we gave away fun door prizes, though the true highlight of the evening was honoring our dedicated team members for their years of service. 🏆 We were so proud to celebrate milestones starting at 1 year and moving through 5, 10, and 15 years—and for those who have been with us even longer, we celebrated them to infinity and beyond! 🚀🌌 It was a truly special night spent recognizing the amazing people who make our program possible. We are so grateful for everything our staff does to make Adventure Club such a wonderful place for our students! ❤️👋

Kirkwood School District will dismiss early today, Monday, April 27, at all Kirkwood Schools in anticipation of severe weather at the end of the school day. This decision was made as the National Weather Service has raised the risk level related to predicted weather conditions. Families should check their email for specific dismissal times. All after school activities, including Adventure Club, events, and practices are cancelled. Tonight’s scheduled Board of Education meeting will be rescheduled for Tuesday, April 28 at 7 p.m.
