Feeling stressed about finals? We are too. If you need to take a breather, come meditate in the greenhouse with us! You can come at any time during the listed time slots to sit with the plants and meditate. We will also provide guided meditation worksheets for you if needed! 🪴

Did you know that you can find 23 species of goldenrod throughout Missouri? This yellow perennial can be found in many habitats throughout the state, including fields, pastures, prairies, wooded areas, and even roadsides! We love goldenrod here at the Truman Pollinator Garden because it attracts lots of bees and butterflies! 🐝 (MO Department of Conservation)

These passion flowers are, arguably, some of the most striking flowers in the garden! Not only are they beautiful, but in the right conditions, they can bloom all summer long. They are considered a climbing vine and are actually native to southern Missouri! 💜 (MO Department of Conservation)

Happy finals week, bulldogs! The end is in sight! We’re definitely feeling the Truman pride with these beautiful flowers 💜 this is Salvia, which is commonly known as sage. With the right amount of moisture, these plants can bloom all summer long! Its name comes from the Latin word meaning, “to save or heal,” which is fitting because of its many medicinal properties!
