Beta Theta Pi - Truman State University

[Alumni] Join the Bulldog Break from 12-1 p.m. on March 8, 2023 to hear from brother alumnus Sam Murphey ('06) about his exciting journey from student at Truman State University to Chief Strategy Officer at Greater St. Louis, Inc. Sam will be sharing his career path up to this point as well as discussing the type of work he is doing in his current role and what Greater St. Louis, Inc. is all about. We will also have a Q&A opportunity with Sam at the end of the event.

[Parents Day] Had a great time with our parents up in Kirksville on Saturday! Congrats to Alex Buck and his dad for winning our co****le tournament!

[Exec Spotlight] The last featured member of our executive board is Pledge Educator Caleb Stoddard. Brother Stoddard is a Sophomore Mathematics Major from St. Louis, MO and previously served as our Chorister.

[Exec Spotlight] The next featured member of our executive board is External Relations Chair Kevin Luft. Brother Luft is a Junior Business Administration Major from Wildwood, MO and previously served as our Secretary, Campus Relations Chair, & Professional Development Chair. In addition to Beta, Kevin is the Secretary of Truman’s Funds Allotment Council and was the VP of Internal Operations on the Interfraternity Council Executive Board.

[Brother of the Month] Brother Cole Hedrick has been chosen as the Beta of the Month for February. Cole is a Senior Exercise Science Major but will stay at Truman to complete the Master of Athletic Training program. After joining Beta in Spring 2021, he served as our Recruitment Chair in 2022 and recruited 21 new pledges between the Spring and Fall semesters. In addition to Beta, Cole is always a friendly face at the Truman Rec Center.

[Social] Last night, some brothers had a great time at date parties for both Delta Zeta & Alpha Sigma Alpha!

[Service] Tonight, brothers volunteered at the Macon YMCA’s annual fundraising banquet!

[Social] Brothers had great times this Saturday at date parties for both Alpha Gamma Delta & Sigma Sigma Sigma!

[Recruitment] Spring Rush kicks off next week! Events will run February 6th through 9th!
