The SigTau Dogs
The Beta Chapter of Sigma Tau Gamma was founded at Truman State University on July 30th, 1921.
Founded as a society of men who endeavor to promote the highest ideals of Manhood, Brotherhood, and Citizenship, its members dedicate themselves to a set of six principles: value, learning, leadership, excellence, benefit and integrity. Since then, the men of Sig Tau have worked to promote service and philanthropy throughout Truman's campus. Stay tuned for upcoming events, and news from Sigma Tau Gamma - Beta Chapter.

It is with the utmost sadness that Beta Chapter member and former president, Adam Paris, tragically passed away on Sunday, June 6th, 2021. Adam was an individual like no other. He compromised for no one, ensuring that everyone he cared about knew just how much they meant to him. At the drop of a dime Adam would come to help a friend in need even when it was most inconvenient for him. He was everything anyone could ever want in a friend. He was family. As Adam graduated from Truman, he was preparing to begin his journey through law school at the University of Missouri in the fall of 2021 to become a judge and continue his ever-present passion for helping others. There are no words that can truly describe the heartache that we have been, and will continue to feel during this time as we grieve the loss of an incredible brother.
Adam, you will be missed more than you could ever imagine. Thank you for the energy and passion that you carried around with you, and more importantly, thank you for all of the wonderful memories that you left us with. They will be cherished forever. Your legacy will not soon be forgotten. We love youđź’›.

Times like these can make it seem as if there is no light at the end of the tunnel. One of our brothers from the Epsilon Tau Chapter of UNC- Charolette is currently facing extreme hardship with the loss of several family members due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
We know that times are not easy right now, but if you can spare anything, the Fusco Family could really use any help they can get. Please keep this family in your thoughts and prayers as they continue to endure this nightmare.
