We had such a fun day yesterday!

We wrapped up our Makers & Creators week with a group challenge and a special visit from the fire department. The campers loved getting a close-up look at the firetruck and taking turns sitting inside. A great way to end the week!

Yesterday, our Makers & Creators Week campers put their creativity to work! After baking cupcakes, they designed and built protective containers for today’s egg drop challenge. We can’t wait to test their inventions and see which designs keep their eggs safe!

A fun week of building and problem-solving at camp!

This is what we were up to so far, campers created villages with Magna-Tiles, LEGO® bricks, and blocks, then tackled the Marshmallow Challenge, building the tallest towers they could using only spaghetti and marshmallows.
We had a Field Day with challengers snd obstical course and ended with an engineering challenge as campers designed marble runs to guide a marble from top to bottom without it falling.

Week 7 already?! Time flies when you're having fun.
Next up: The Inventors' Expo
Our campers will spend the week building, designing, creating, and inventing—from bridges and marble runs to original inventions and creative art. Then on Friday, they'll showcase it all at our Inventors' Expo and earn their Maker Badges.
We can't wait to see their creativity come to life!

Another great week at camp!

Campers enjoyed a visit from Studio East, where they played theater games and learned choreography and songs inspired by K-Pop Demon Hunters. We also had a fun Field Day, enjoyed popsicles, and ended the week with a performance for our families.

Thank you to Studio East and to all the parents who came to support our campers!

Week 6: Lights, Magic… Action!

We can’t believe we’re already halfway through our summer camp! This week is all about creativity, confidence, and celebrating every child’s unique talents.

Our campers will spend the week preparing for the Les Lilas Talent Show, rehearsing songs, practicing dances, learning lines, and exploring the joy of performing.

Yesterday was the perfect finale to our Science Week!

Our campers spent the morning at the Pacific Science Center exploring physics, learning about insects like butterflies, discovering the scientific method through an interactive magic show, and experiencing the K-Pop Demon Hunters laser show in the Laser Dome.

Back at camp, families joined us for our Science Showcase, where campers proudly shared hands-on activities in physics, chemistry, and biology—from parachutes and erupting volcanoes to colorful chemistry experiments, and bug explorations with magnifying glasses.

Thank you to all of our families for joining us!

This week, our campers became junior engineers during our Popsicle Stick Bridge Challenge!

Working in teams, they designed and built bridges using popsicle sticks while learning about gravity, forces, and the importance of strong shapes in engineering. Once their bridges were complete, we put them to the test by adding books one at a time to see how much weight each design could support before breaking. It was an exciting way to see how different building methods affect strength and durability.

Our younger campers explored the same scientific concepts by designing parachutes for stuffed animals. As they tested their creations, they discovered how gravity works and how different parachute designs can change the way objects fall.

The learning continued with a biology adventure in the forest. Equipped with magnifying glasses, campers explored bugs, leaves, and other small wonders of nature, practicing observation skills while discovering more about the natural world around them. It’s not over yet! Fun continuous!

Campers designed and sculpted volcanoes using air-dry clay before bringing them to life with a classic baking soda and vinegar eruption. The excitement on their faces as the volcanoes bubbled and overflowed was priceless!
Science rocks!
