KCP Caregivers are using their voice to keep the doors of our program open and welcoming other families into the community of parenting education.

Parents, caregivers, teachers & children are coming together and speaking out on the value of our program! There is still time to complete a paper plate before they are delivered on Thursday.

At Kirkland Cooperative Preschool, we care deeply about supporting families—and right now, parent education programs across Washington need our help.

These programs impact thousands of children and families, and they’re at risk due to funding changes. The good news: support from our community can make a difference.

Teachers, kids and caregivers are working on artwork & letters to send to our state legislators regarding the value of our program.

KCP hosted Mare Sullivan a Kirkland author, educator and volunteer to read her new children's book Come Out and Play. We also held a used book swap so all who attended went home with a book or two.

Families were delighted with her story of two siblings playing together outdoors while learning about Pacific Northwest native plants.

If you are looking for a fun and engaging children's book you can order through BookTree bookstore in Kirkland, Barnes andNoble online, or DM Mare directly for a signed copy. All proceeds are donated to New Bethlehem Place family shelter in Kirkland.

KCP was able to donate $310 and a large box of books to our neighbors at New Bethlehem.

🎉 The LWTG Eastside Preschool Fair is almost here, January 8, 2026! 🎉

We’re excited to invite families to this annual preschool event. Choosing the right preschool can feel overwhelming, but this fair brings 40+ incredible preschool programs together under one roof to make the process easier.

Some festive Group III Traditions are happening this week - Rudolph Shirts & Gingerbread Houses! The families will always remember the size of their child's pre-k hands. The kids enjoyed using their creative building skills while constructing a house for a Gingerbread Baby.
