Today is Election Day! Have you checked the voting guidelines for your state to make sure you’re all set to participate in this year's elections?

Together, we can elevate the importance of early childhood education and educators by educating ourselves on candidates' positions on the issues impacting child care and early learning and participating in Election Day. Your vote matters.

Especially if you’re participating in NAEYC’s Annual Conference, please make sure you’ve voted before joining us in Anaheim! Follow these steps to ensure that you’re :

Get your information right. Find out how to vote in your state, like where your polling location is, what times you can go, and what you need to bring to vote.
Research what’s on your ballot. Check out America for Early Ed to explore the candidates and ballot initiatives you have the opportunity to vote on.

Need help with transportation?

Lime is offering free rides to vote through Election Day (11/5). Lime scooters and e-bikes will be available for free using the following code: VOTE2024

Lyft is offering a 50% discount (up to $10) on Election Day rides to the polls when you preload the code, VOTE24, on or before November 5. The code is valid from 5 AM to 10 PM in every time zone, and can be used on a rideshare, bikeshare, or scooter ride.

Uber is offering riders in the U.S. 50% off rides to their polling place (up to $10) when they use the ‘Go Vote’ tile to book a ride.
