🏃‍♂️💨 10 DAYS UNTIL THE JME FUN RUN! 🏃‍♀️💨

The countdown is ON! We are officially 10 days away from Fun Run day, and the excitement is building! Here is where we stand this afternoon:

💰 Goal Progress: We’ve officially broken the $10K mark! We have raised $10,961 toward our $40,000 goal!

🎟️ GRAND PRIZE UNLOCKED! 🎟️
Because we hit $10,000, we’ve officially unlocked our first $100 Gift Card Grand Prize Drawing!

Students can earn drawing entries in three ways:
1️⃣ 1 entry for every $50 raised
2️⃣ Bonus entries for being a top fundraiser in their class or grade level
3️⃣ 1 entry for every 10 laps run on Fun Run day!

⭐ Shoutout: Mrs. Abatan's class is still holding the crown for the most total donations at 30 separate donations! They are also closing in fast on their 100% fundraising goal -- just $678 left to raise! 👏🎉

🍬 Classroom Candy Challenge: 103 students have now created their fundraising pages! Mrs. Shiels's class has taken the lead in the race to 100% participation! 🚀 Who will cross the finish line first to win the special candy surprise? 🍫

💵 Cash or Check? Check your student's take-home folder for paper pledge forms if family or friends prefer to donate offline.

📣 Calling All Crafters, Artisans & Local Vendors! 🎨✨

We are still accepting vendor applications for the 4th Annual JME Maker’s Market & Auction! This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your handmade goods, crafts, and unique gifts to the local Kirkland community just in time for the holidays.

📅 Date: Saturday, December 12th

⏰ Time: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM

📍 Location: John Muir Elementary (Kirkland, WA)

🏕️ Vendors with a Cause: All event proceeds directly benefit the JME Outdoor Education program, helping send our 5th graders on their unforgettable spring trip to Camp Orkila!

We’re keeping the energy high! Here is the latest progress update for our JME Fun Run:

💰 Goal Progress: We’ve officially raised $8,346 of our $40,000 goal! Every donation makes a huge difference!

🎉 Big Celebration: HUGE shoutout to Mrs. Abatan's class! They unlocked their 50% fundraising goal prize (a popsicle or glow stick dance party! 🍭✨) AND currently lead the entire school with 22 individual donations!

🍬 Classroom Candy Challenge: 97 students now have their fundraising pages created! Ms. Tanner's class is currently in the lead for the candy surprise, with 35% of their students set up. Remember: The first class to hit 100% created pages wins a special candy treat! 🍫

💵 Prefer Cash or Check? Paper pledge forms were placed in teacher mailboxes this afternoon, so keep an eye out for them in your student's take-home folder soon!

We’re keeping the momentum going! Here’s a quick look at where we stand with our JME Fun Run fundraising:

💰 Goal Progress: We’ve raised $6,304 of our $40,000 goal! Every donation brings us closer!

🎉 Prizes Unlocked: 34 students have already earned individual prizes! Keep up the amazing work!

⭐ Special Shoutout: Huge round of applause to Mrs. Abatan's class for leading the school with the most total pledges --14 pledges and counting! 🙌

📈 Parent Challenge: Right now, 90 students have had their fundraising pages set up by their grown-ups. That’s just shy of 25% of our school! Our big goal is to get 100% participation, so we’d love for every single student to have their page created!

This summer, 758 community members shared their ideas for the future of North Rose Hill Woodlands playground, affectionately known as "castle playground." We listened! Your feedback helped shape three exciting playground design concepts, and now it's time for round two.

Take a look at the three playground concepts and tell us which features you love and which concept you'd like to see us refine to become the next playground.

The survey takes just 4–8 minutes, and we especially encourage families to get their kids involved. After all, they're our playground experts!
