LWTech Baking Arts Lake Washington Institute of Technology's Baking Arts AAS degree prepares students for employment op

Students in LWTech's Baking Arts program develop academic knowledge and occupational skills that are required for job acquisition, retention and advancement. The Baking Arts program and degree is recognized and accredited by the American Culinary Federation (ACF). In addition, graduates will earn food safety certification by the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation (NRAEF) certifications to add to their portfolio. Upon graduation, students will be eligible to receive their initial ACF certifications at the Certified Pastry Culinarian (CPC) level.

We have some sad news: This was posted on Julie A Smith's page. Julie was an alumni student who also worked at Lwtech as a tech aide and organized catering for the Culinary Arts program. We had many laughs and good times. We have lost a sparkling star. We will miss you and you left us far too soon. 😥 "It is with sadness that I have to tell you of the passing of Julie Smith. She passed away August 27 and you are invited to a celebration of her life on Saturday, October 3 at 1:00 PM at Millcreek Foursquare Church in Lynnwood. The address is 1415 164th St. SW., Lynnwood, WA 98087. Please share with anyone you know who knew her."
