NOTE for our craft last week! Our brave Mugs!
How to seal mugs at home –
1. At home let your mug sit and fully dry overnight, a full 24 hours if possible. This helps to set the paint for the baking process.
2. Place the dried mug onto a cookie sheet upside down and set it on the middle rack of the oven. DO NOT preheat the oven!!
3. Once the mugs are in, set the temperature to 425 degrees. Start timing 30 minutes once the oven reaches 425. While in the oven it may give off a weird smell, so if you are sensitive, make sure you let the kitchen air out while the mugs are baking.
4. Let the mugs cool in the oven as much as you can before removing them, preferably until they are completely cool. This is to prevent any cracking from sudden changes in temperature.
