What: Fun evening with treats, inflatables, balloon twisting, carnival games, a magic show and more!
When: Friday, June 5th, 6:30pm - 8:30pm
Where: Thoreau Elementary School (outside near playground & in gym)

Thursday, May 14: 🚴♀️ Kirkland Bike will offer a free safety bike tune-up. Bring your bike! Tune-ups start at 8:15 am, adult supervision required before 9:05 am. 🚴♀️

Walk, Bike, Roll to School Week
It’s time to trade the car keys for sneakers and helmets! Walk to School Week kicks off today, and we’re calling on all Thoreau families to help us turn the sidewalk into a parade.
Whether you’re strolling, biking, or scooting, leaving the car at home is a win for everyone:
Get an energy boost! Walking helps your brain wake up and chatting with your friends or family on the way is fun.
Keep our neighborhood air clean and fresh.
Beat the drop-off traffic. Reduce congestion around the school and help us make our streets safer for every student.

Parents Night Out – May 8, JHS Commons
$30 per child – 5-9 pm (a steal for 4 hours of childcare!)
Drop off starts at 5 pm, pick up any time between 8:30-9:00. Feel free to go to dinner, a movie, go home and take a nap, or run errands child free!
Activities – PG movie, coloring, games, chalk
Dinner – Pizza, Veggies, Fruit, Water provided!
Staffed by JHS teachers and seniors
