Sometimes all it takes is one successful moment to change a student’s attitude toward practice.
Our Rhythm Tap game provides them instant feedback as they build foundational rhythm skills.
A simple game.. a quick challenge.. results in an immediate chance to experience success and gain confidence.
We’ve found that when learning feels rewarding, students are much more likely to come back tomorrow.

Parents stopped being confused after I started doing this. 👀
Instead of sending students home trying to remember everything from their lesson, we designed the AWSOM app to create clear, organized practice assignments in seconds.
Nathan simply speaks the homework assignment out loud, and the app turns it into a clean practice guide with checklists, specific intervals, and daily goals. Then, the assignment is delivered directly to the student’s account.
No more:
❌ “Wait… what were they supposed to practice?”
❌ Lost notebooks
❌ Unclear lesson notes
We prefer simple, guided practice that helps students actually make progress 💪
This is designed for teachers, and WAY easier for parents.
The ultimate result? Much more successful practice sessions for students.

Teachers often see their students struggling with notes…
…but rhythm is what actually keeps music moving.
That’s why we built rhythm tools into the app that make practice more interactive, consistent, and actually engaging 🎶
👀Inside the app:
• Rhythm Reading helps students strengthen pulse, counting, and timing in real music contexts through listening.
• Rhythm Tap gives instant interactive rhythm practice students can physically tap through in real time and celebrate progression 🎉
• Practice reminders help students build a rhythm of their own - because consistency matters just as much as skill 📆
Whether you’re teaching or practicing, rhythm builds confident musicians who stick with music longer.

When your student understands the accompaniment assignment” 👏🎹
🙌 Proof that Mr. Nathan treats music lessons as much more than learning notes on a page.
It’s listening, adapting, collaborating, performing, and sometimes… unexpectedly accompanying your teacher’s full opera performance 😂
Moments like this are where student/teacher relationships grow, breeding confidence and musicianship. It’s a big part of why we love what we do.
If you’ve been practicing for years but still feel stuck… hear us out.
You need something different. And the AWSOM app isn’t just another supplement.
It’s the bridge between curiosity and commitment.
Our app turns “I should practice” into “I want to practice” - with tools and a reward system that actually keep students engaged, consistent, and progressing, no matter the instrument.
Because beginners don’t stay beginners when practice finally clicks.
And students don’t quit when they’re excited to show up.

We used to do it too…
and while it works, we also noticed that it quietly holds them back from the skill we’re actually trying to build.
So we created something different.
Instead of writing in every note, we give students a simple “cheat sheet” to keep next to them while they play.
When they hit a note they don’t know → they check it → and go right back to the music.
They’re still doing the thinking…
they just have a safety net.
And here’s what’s happening:
• They get unstuck faster
• Way less frustration (for them and me)
• They start recognizing notes naturally over time
No marking up the score.
No guessing.
No shutdown moments.
It’s the sweet spot between support and independence- and it’s thanks to the app!
Tell me, teachers - how are you helping students bridge this gap? 👇
This isn’t a hobby - it’s what we’ve built our whole life around.
Like our teacher Hana… shifting between virtual lessons and in-person sessions in Queen Creek like 🏃♀️🎤🎹
But honestly? We wouldn’t trade it.
Getting to teach, coach, and watch these students grow is everything.
👀Keep an eye out for more about the amazing Hana soon!
🎶Queen Creek families - are your kids in music yet?
🛑Stop forcing kids through method books.
Nathan’s take: When you stop putting students into a box and start following what they’re actually passionate about… everything changes.
Confidence grows.
Creativity shows up.
And suddenly - they want to practice.
The goal isn’t to finish the book.
It’s to build a lifelong relationship with music. 🎶
- do you agree? Let’s hear your hot take below 🔥 ⬇️
💾 Save this for a reminder: the right approach makes all the difference.
Are you having any fun?
…actually, yes 😌🎶
Singing gets so much easier (and way more fun) when you learn how to use your breath instead of fighting it.
Nathan is introducing his student to a simple, but effective trick to help him find that smooth, supported, effortless sound.
👀 Curious? Keep your eyes peeled for a behind-the-scenes look at a voice lesson with Nathan (so many good takeaways you can steal).
