ABRSM is deeply saddened by the news of the death of Her Majesty The Queen.

As our Patron, Her Majesty’s support over many years has helped to ensure that for the many millions of candidates who have taken our music exams during her reign that their musical achievements have been made even more special.

We send our deepest sympathies to the Royal Family at this sad time.

Piano Day, an annual worldwide event founded by a group of likeminded people, takes place on the 88th day of the year – in 2021 it’s the 29th March – because of the number of keys on the instrument being celebrated.

In 2020, Bright Music Studio hosted 4 online recitals for our students. We also played the Twelve Variations on "Ah vous dirai-je, Maman" by Mozart together. This is one of the most popular songs in the world, as we all like to sing “Twinkle, twinkle little star” and “Alphabet song”.
