Seattle Songbird Academy is thrilled to announce that we have launched our YouTube channel!!

Last week 4 of our students entered an international online singing competition! Their videos for the competition can be viewed in the new YouTube channel.

I am so incredibly proud of each of these students! 3 of the 4 have been in lessons for 3 months or less! Entering a competition like this takes confidence, a willingness to take risks and a readiness to learn and everyone of these young ladies embodies these points!

Our mission is simple yet powerful: to make music education accessible to teens and empower them to use their voices to impact the world. It's about breaking down financial barriers and ensuring that talent and passion are the only prerequisites for success in the world of music.

🎓It’s graduation season. This one is bittersweet for me, as Seattle Songbird Academy’s Administrative Assistant, Saiya, is one of those grads who is spreading her wings and flying off to her next adventure in life.

Saiya has been with me from the first days of SSA’s inception. She started as a shy girl, with no job experience, and has blossomed into a confident, empathetic, business savvy, young woman. She has been by my side through all the ups, downs, successes, failures, health challenges, & a good many emotional breakdowns (one of which I am having as I write this🥲).

I could not possibly be more proud of her. And while everything in me wants to call her college of choice and tell them they made a TERRIBLE decision accepting her, the better part of me (I know, I was surprised that part could prevail too!), wishes her nothing but success, joy, laughter and immense love, as she goes on to change the world. And she will!
