Current 3rd and 4th grade families are invited to attend our Open House! Meet our band teacher, learn about the program, and get your questions answered by our Band Enrichment Chair. The Band Enrichment program runs in Fall, Winter, and Spring sessions, helping students build musical skills, confidence, and friendships throughout the year.

What an unforgettable weekend for our school community! From “One Day in Kansas" to "There’s No Place Like Home” to the final bows on stage, the magic of Oz truly came to life right here at Sandburg/DCS. 💚

Thank you to our incredible cast, Studio East team, PTSA volunteers, teachers, staff, families, sponsors, and wonderful audience members for bringing the Yellow Brick Road to life - special thanks to our amazing producer Elyssa Saini for making the entire production run so smoothly and to Jaclyn Senekerimyan for tying it all together. ⭐

This production was so much more than a school play. It was kids discovering confidence, friendships growing stronger, parents and volunteers coming together behind the scenes, and an entire community creating something magical together. Weeks of rehearsals, set building, costumes, music, lights, programs, concessions, and endless teamwork all led to three truly special performances we will never forget. 💫

Whether your child was on stage, backstage, in the audience, or simply singing the songs at home afterward, thank you for being part of this journey down the Yellow Brick Road. 🌈👠
