As many have seen the posters in the office walking into KCS, but we are hosting the Scholastic Book Fair at KCS again! The book fair will run from March 2- 6, 2026, 8am-10am and 2:30pm-5:30pm and get your reader psyched to pick out their own books!

The time has come to start thinking about kindergarten! KCS has a small, wonderful kindergarten program and we'd love to tell you more about it!
You're invited to our Kindergarten Open House on Tuesday, January 20th at 5pm. Come hear about all the things our program has to offer. Have general kindergarten questions? We'll answer those too!

Kindergarten Program at Kirkland Children's School Low teacher-child ratio. We offer year-round programs with both full day and extended care options, too.
For the last week we have been collecting food donations for Hopelink Kirkland! We will be collecting non-perishable food items and other items that they are in need of this season until December 4th.
You can click the link in our bio that will tell you more information about Hopelink and then can find other items they are in need of. There are donation boxes located in the office, please drop off donations at anytime!

You may have heard your child talking about their fire drill we had last month! 🔥🚒
We run monthly fire drills here at KCS and this infographic gives a thorough overview of what happens during a fire drill at school and the importance of conducting a drill monthly.

Day 2 of trekking through space! Our teachers stopped back into the space station to enjoy some yummy ice cream treats!! With a yummy sundae, ice cream sandwich, or float they have enough fuel to get to the next mission! 🚀🧑🚀

Starting of teacher appreciation week 2025 with a BANG!! Our “big bang breakfast” was sponsored by our amazing families, we are so overwhelmed and grateful with the generosity of our parents in our community. We can’t wait to show off more the rest of the week with blasting off into space with how our teachers are out of this world!!! 🌎 ☄️🚀🧑🚀
