In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth

Through the month of January the children will be learning about the creation of the solar system, the different planets, the sun, the moon, the stars and constellations
We will wrap up our lesson learning different ways we can work together to keep our world clean......recycling ♻️

Two of my girls have birthday's that fall on our Christmas break so we went ahead and celebrated them today 🥰🎁🎉🎂
Laurel turns 4 after Christmas (I've had her in my care since she was 6 months old)
Scarlett turns 5 the day after Christmas (I've had her in my care since she was 13 months old)
I can't believe how big my girls are!!! 😭❤

I didn't want the other two girls left out so we celebrated their Unbirthday 😁

I am honored to have been chosen to be their teacher and caregiver through the years 💯
I do not take this privilege and responsibility lightly 💗💞💓

As we all know.....It's better to give than to receive
We are doing things a little different this year at daycare for the Christmas season ❤

Anyone who knows me and what my main goals are in teaching the children entrusted to me is..... #1 Love for God (Jesus) and #2 Love for our Country America
These are daily lessons taught to these children here

I have decided to enlist the help of my daycare kids to put together Christmas gift bags and treat bags for 12 of of America's heroes (soldiers) 🇺🇸🎄🇺🇸🎅🇺🇸🤶🇺🇸🎁🇺🇸❤

Each child will also be writing a "Dear Hero" letter and coloring a patriotic picture to send with each gift

We will be adding some hot chocolate, chips and hot tea to the treat bags. Then the boxes will be mailed out by the end of this week 😁

My assistant Analee (my oldest daughter) joined us along with my son Elijah and my youngest daughter Rhiannon (who is also my unofficial assistant)

We're learning about the First Thanksgiving at daycare 🥰🦃
Today we made Indian headdresses ❤

The children have learned that the Pilgrims sailed over on the ship called the Mayflower and when they arrived on Plymouth Rock they met the Indians who already lived here.....they became friends and the Indians taught the Pilgrims how to grow food 😊
Then they had a big feast known as Thanksgiving!
