🏀 Braves & Lady Braves Win Big at Niangua! 🏀
What a way to open the season! The 7/8 Grade Braves and Lady Braves kicked off their seasons in a big way at Niangua—and made a little history along the way!
The Lady Braves got the evening started with a strong 31–22 victory over the Lady Cardinals. Then the Braves kept the momentum rolling, dominating the Cardinals 46–26!
Not only were these the first games of the season, but they also marked Kirbyville’s first-ever James River Valley Conference games! What a way to start!
Congratulations to our players and coaches on an outstanding night! We are proud of you! 🏀🔥

Friendly Reminder be safe on the road.
Starting August 28, 2026, a new Missouri law increases penalties for drivers who illegally pass a stopped school bus. With our buses back on the road, please take a moment to review what's at stake:

🔴 1st offense: $500–$1,000 fine, 5 points, 90-day license suspension
🔴 2nd offense (within 5 years): $1,000–$2,000 fine, 5 points, 90-day suspension
🔴 3rd+ offense: $1,500–$3,000 fine, 5 points, 180-day suspension
⚠️ If a child is injured: up to 4 years in prison and a $5,000 fine
⚠️ If a child is seriously injured: up to 7 years in prison and a $10,000 fine

After Arkansas Schools returned to the classroom earlier this month, Missouri Schools follow suit this week.
