🏀 Palisades Youth Basketball Association Registration 2025-2026 🏀
The Palisades Youth Basketball Association is excited to start another basketball season for first through sixth grade boys and girls. Basketball is a great sport for developing individual skills and learning the value of teamwork. We look forward to seeing you on the court this season!
3rd-6th Grade- PYBA will have travel teams for boys and girls in grades 3rd-6th participating in the Penn Basketball Club. Practices will begin in late November and are typically held twice per week. The season consists of 10 games, beginning the second weekend in December. Home games are mostly scheduled Saturday mornings but can be any day of the week and away games may take place any day of the week. Gym time is limited so practice times and locations are not determined until after teams are registered and middle school/high school schedules are confirmed. We utilize all 3 elementary schools, PALMS and PHS for practices. Registration runs Oct 1st-Oct 15th. Registration may close early if rosters fill up, so please don’t delay in signing up. Teams may hold evaluations for tryouts and team placement.
Cost for travel players is $170 with a new uniform jersey and $150 if you already have a jersey from last year. If using last year’s jersey please check that it still fits before you complete the registration. Registration fees cover our costs for things like court time, equipment, jerseys, referees, onsite league supervisors and other league fees.
1st & 2nd Grade- Boys and girls in 1st & 2nd grade will have the option to participate in our in-house intramural league that is run by the Palisades High School varsity coaches and players. They have generously volunteered to host this program to get younger players excited for basketball. There will be four sessions held at the High School gym. The cost of this program is $35. The dates are Sundays Jan 4th, Jan 11th, Jan 18th, Jan 25th and a snow date Feb 1st. The boys’ sessions are 12:00-1:00 and the girls’ sessions are 1:00-2:00. Registration deadline for intramural is Dec 1st.
