🎓📚 Spring Semester Exams Are Here, Vikings! 📚🎓
Spring Semester Exams are a critical opportunity to finish the year strong and show what you have learned. Attendance and participation during exams are mandatory, and every day counts as we move through review sessions and final preparations.
Be present.
Be on time.
Be prepared.
Give your very best effort every single day.
Review sessions are designed to help you succeed, strengthen your understanding, and build confidence before exam day. Missing school, arriving late, or checking out mentally can impact your performance and your future opportunities.
Now is the time to lock in, stay focused, and finish with pride. Your hard work, discipline, and determination matter.
“Success is the sum of small efforts repeated day in and day out.” – Robert Collier
Let’s finish the semester the Viking Way — focused, motivated, and committed to excellence!

KHS alumni and Tarheel graduates and students, Zenaida Bryant, Nicholas Harvey III, and Derrian Wilson, came to campus Friday to visit with our Seniors attending UNC-Chapel Hill in the fall. They brought a special gift and welcomed them to the Tarheel family.
Such a special act of kindness! Kinston Tough and Viking Strong!

Vikings take on DC! A trip down memory lane has our Vikings discussing important moments in history. What a fun and educational day as some of our Vikings take on the sites and scenes of Washington, DC. Special thank you to Kyonna Kelly, a Kinston High School alumnae for making it all possible.

What an awesome day to be a Viking. We celebrated our seniors on Awards day today and we applaud all of their accomplishments. This graduating class has accumulated over 7 million dollars in scholarships to pave their way for their future. We are so proud and are glad that these scholars are preparing to do great things in the upcoming years.
