Bus 163 - Afternoon Only:
Due to a bus change, students who normally ride Bus 163 will be placed on a different bus and may arrive home later than usual.
Parents: You're welcome to pick up your student before dismissal if preferred.

The 8th grade social was an amazing night filled with laughter, music, and great memories. Students arrived looking their very best and enjoying every moment with their friends. The dance floor stayed full as students danced, smiled, and celebrated together throughout the evening. Everyone also enjoyed the delicious food and fun atmosphere that made the event so special. Most importantly, Rochelle was proud of the outstanding behavior shown by our students, as they represented themselves and our school with class, respect, and positivity all night long.

May 14, 2026 from 5:00pm-6:30pm. Dinner will be served.

We are excited to invite Southeast, Northwest, and Northeast students to our Middle School Jumpstart Parent Night and Exploratory Registration to select their exploratory classes for the upcoming year!

This event will provide important information to help students and families prepare for the upcoming school year, including academic expectations, supports, and opportunities for success.

Congratulations to our Assistant Principal, Mrs. Candace Tilghman Rouse on this incredible accomplishment!

Today she received EdS degree from East Carolina University.

We are so proud of your dedication, perseverance, and commitment to excellence in education. Your hard work continues to inspire everyone around you, and we know this is only the beginning of even greater things to come!

Ending Teacher Appreciation Week with a Loaded Celebration!

Today, Rochelle Middle School wrapped up Teacher Appreciation Week with a delicious Potato Bar Lunch for our amazing teachers and staff!

From all the toppings to all the smiles, it was the perfect way to end a week dedicated to celebrating the incredible people who pour so much into our students each and every day.

To our RMS teachers and staff — thank you for your hard work, dedication, patience, and love for students. Your impact reaches far beyond the classroom, and we are grateful for all that you do.

We hope you felt appreciated, celebrated, and truly in the spotlight this week!

Day 3 of Teacher Appreciation Week at Rochelle Middle School started off just right!

This morning, our amazing staff enjoyed a Bagels & Fruit Breakfast — a small way to say THANK YOU for the big impact they make every day.

We loved seeing our teachers take a moment to relax, connect, and enjoy a fresh start before pouring into our students once again.

Your dedication does not go unnoticed — you truly deserve the spotlight!

Slushies, Snacks & Test Prep Success!

Day 2 of Teacher Appreciation Week at Rochelle Middle School was a hit!

Our staff enjoyed Slushies & Snacks throughout the day — a well-deserved treat to keep them refreshed and energized!

At the same time, our teachers completed their EOG test training, preparing to support our students as they get ready to show what they know. Their dedication behind the scenes is just another example of how much they pour into student success every single day.

We appreciate our teachers not only for what they do in the classroom, but for the extra time and effort they invest to make sure our students are ready to shine!
