🧪 Our second graders have been exploring the three states of matter—solids, liquids, and gases—and discovering how matter changes from one state to another! They put their science knowledge into action by making their very own ice cream floats! 🍦 From watching the ice cream melt to observing the bubbles form, our young scientists got a firsthand look at science in action—all while enjoying a delicious treat! 😋

FETCH Friday was full of fun, friendship, and learning! 🌞
Miss Harris' kindergarteners partnered with fifth graders to practice important conversational skills through meaningful conversations and shared activities. They worked on taking turns speaking, listening carefully, asking questions, and responding to their friends. 💬 These special moments helped build confidence, strengthen communication skills, build friendship skills and create connections across grade levels. We love learning, growing, and making new friends together! 💙💛

🚒❤️ Our kindergarteners had an exciting visit from our local fire department! Firefighters taught students important fire safety tips and how to stay safe in an emergency. 🧯 The fun continued as students took turns spraying water from the fire hose and exploring the fire truck to see the amazing tools firefighters use to serve our community! 💦

A huge thank-you to our local firefighters for taking the time to teach our students and make learning fun, memorable, and full of smiles! 👨‍🚒🔥

🌿 One of the best parts of a field trip is taking learning beyond the classroom!

Mrs. Griffin’s class made the most of their visit to the park with a nature walk full of discovery! Students explored their surroundings and found all kinds of interesting things, including black walnuts (both in and out of their husks), mahogany seed pods, roly-polies, several varieties of acorns, and even super tiny flowers! They also spotted evidence of squirrels preparing for winter! 🐿️

Our Fall Festival wristbands are NOW ON PRESALE! Information and a presale wristband order form will be going home today in your child’s folder. Be sure to check their folder for all the details and information on how to purchase your wristbands!

Get yours at the discounted price of just $10 each, or take advantage of our presale family packages:

🎟️ 3 wristbands – $25
🎟️ 4 wristbands – $35

Children under 3 are FREE and do not need a wristband! Wristbands purchased at the event will be $15 each, so be sure to grab yours early and SAVE!
