Chrystal is beginning her third year at Ambleside! She will transition to more of an office administrative position this year while still teaching a few arts/handicrafts/DIY that so many of our girls enjoys.

🙏 A CALL TO PRAYER

As we prepare to begin another school year, we are asking our staff, students, families, church family, and communityto join us in intentionally covering Ambleside and Tabernacle in prayer.

Our students are growing up in a world filled with pressures and battles—mental, emotional, physical, social, and spiritual. Scripture reminds us that “we wrestle not against flesh and blood…” (Ephesians 6:12).

We want to begin this year recognizing that our greatest strength is not found in ourselves, but in the One who matters most—Jesus Christ.

This week, we are asking people to choose one or more 15-minute prayer times between 6:00–9:00 PM as we seek to continually cover our school, church, students, families, and community in prayer during the evening watch.

Pray wherever the Lord leads you.

❤️ Come to the Ambleside campus and walk the halls or grounds. Pray at Tabernacle, lifting up the church, its leadership, congregation, ministries, and its continued work for the Kingdom.

Go to the new Ambleside land and pray over what God has planned for the future. Gather with another family—or simply find a quiet place in your own home and pray.

The location isn't what matters. The prayer does.

Our needs are multifold. We are praying for our students and their hearts and minds; our teachers and staff; our families; Tabernacle and its church family and leadership; wisdom and discernment; protection; provision; unity; spiritual strength; our current campus; the new land; and God's clear direction for all that lies ahead.

Above everything, we are praying that Jesus Christ would be glorified and remain at the center of all we do.

Inspired by 1 Samuel 11:11, our 6:00–9:00 PM watch is divided into three companies of prayer, with 15-minute opportunities throughout each hour. Multiple people are encouraged to pray during the same time!

Ambleside is excited to announce this next addition to the team! Trudi’s experience and love for nature and animals are evident in her life’s work and family.

Her knowledge of agriculture, animals, and hands-on learning will allow Ambleside to further develop our horticulture and animal programs while giving students meaningful opportunities to experience and appreciate God’s creation.

#41. Larry Hudson

Larry brings a wealth of experience to Ambleside. His life has been dedicated to ministry, discipleship, and mentoring others in the Gospel, and we are grateful that he will now pour that experience into our students.

With his skill in archery and outdoor education, Larry has a unique opportunity to teach practical skills while pointing students to Christ and His creation.

We are so thankful to have Larry investing in the next generation at Ambleside! ❤️🏹

Saturday Surprise- THREE spotlights today!

We are almost to the end of our staff spotlights, and what a beautiful picture they have been of the many lives God has intertwined through Ambleside. Each person brings something unique and special to our school, and it will be a little sad to see this series come to an end next week!

#38 — Lisa Pittman

Lisa is a treasure who never stops growing, striving, and loving our students well. Her ideas are abundant, and she is always looking for ways to make Ambleside better for our children. Her discernment, servant’s heart, and love for Christ are gifts for which we are incredibly grateful!

A.K.A. our beloved “Mud Kitchen Teacher” ☺️ Mrs. Casey is so much more than an incredible mud kitchen and art teacher—although we are certainly thankful for the creativity and dedication she pours into giving our children memories that will last a lifetime! She is also a godly mother and staff member who continually goes above and beyond to show God’s love and truth in all she does. What a blessing she is to Ambleside!

What a wonderful addition Lakin has been to the Ambleside team! Her dedication to our youngest students and her desire for them to play, explore, and truly enjoy their childhood are evident in all she does. The children naturally crowd around her because she doesn’t simply supervise their play—she joins right in! Whether it’s a game, an adventure, or simply time spent together, Lakin brings such a joyful presence to their days. ❤️

As one of the first faces our families and students will see each day, we know Teresa will help make our office a place where people feel welcomed, cared for, and encouraged.
